Obituary of Marie Christiansen & Gitta Granata

Marie Christiansen passed away on May 22, 2020, 6 days short of her 100th Birthday.  She was full of life and always ready to tell a story and have a laugh. She was an adoring grandmother and proud great grandmother. 

Her daughter Gitta Granata passed away on June 3, 2020.  She was loved by many and is now at peace.  She was predeceased by her husband Emilio.  She was a wonderful mother, adoring Mormor and Nanny. 

They will be missed and fondly remembered by their daughter and granddaughter Tania (Jason), and their adored grandchildren and great grandchildren Luca, Oban & Mackenzie. 

A visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 3:30pm until the time of the service to celebrate these amazing women at 4:30pm.
