Obituary of Luigi Dell'Anna

Peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at age 89. Beloved husband of the late Apollonia (Bina). Cherished father of Ada (Luigi Marcantonio), Maria (Mike Shouman), Tony (Lise), Elvira (Bruce McMillan), Louis and Gabriel Pichette (Sonya). Loving grandfather and great grandfather to Lino, Tina (Antonio), Sofia, Gianna, Alessia, Kristen-Lisa (Jonathan) Matteo, Noura (Sean), Madison, Riley, Sarah, Alessandra, Samantha, Antony, Rafaël, Joakim, Ély and Arnaud. Will be missed by his sister in law Franca Lavolpicella and many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. A private family mass and christian burial will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. Our family wish to thank the staff at Cityview Retirement Community and a special thank you to all the staff at the Civic Hospital for all their care and compassion to Pops. Donations in memory of Luigi can be made to Parkinson Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
