Obituary of Jeffrey McCarthy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeff McCarthy, surrounded by his loving family just days before his 39^th birthday. 

Cherished son of Cheryl (nee Murray) and late Richard. Dear brother of Meghan (Tony Russo) and special uncle to Antonio. Loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Special friend to Bru. Predeceased by his grandparents Gerald and Maureen Murray and Earl and Pauline McCarthy.

Jeff was a talented hockey goalie and very competitive tennis player. He has a successful 15 year career with the federal government. Jeff’s family and friends are devastated with his loss. He will never be forgotten and forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at St. Augustine Church, 1060 Baseline Road. A reception will follow. Private inurnment will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital would be appreciated.
