Obituary of Patrick Carpenter

CARPENTER, Patrick Arthur – Peacefully at The Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the age of 79 years.

A lifelong animal lover and supporter of the Humane Society,

Patrick will be lovingly remembered by his brother John Carpenter, his sister Madeleine (Lynn) Sullivan, niece Jennifer and nephews Ronald, Sidney, Clinton, Craig and Christopher. He will also be greatly missed by his many great nieces and nephews, as well as his many friends.

Predeceased by his parents John Edward Carpenter and Queenie Violet (née Lockyer) and his brothers and sister, Steven, Michael and Karen.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patrick’s life, at Cole Funeral Services at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 1 to 3 pm, with Words of Remembrance at 2 pm.

There will be a private inurnment at Pinecrest Cemetery.
