Obituary of Julie Mitchell
It is with profound sadness that the family of Julie Mitchell announces her passing on Aug 24, 2025, at the age of 55, following a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer.
Julie was the kind of person who lit up every room she entered. With her warmth, kindness, and unwavering positivity, she touched countless lives and created a sense of family wherever she went. Her home was always open, her heart always welcoming, and she was truly the glue that held her family and friends together. Even throughout her illness, Julie’s optimism and strength were a source of inspiration to all who knew her.
Julie will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Dave, and her cherished children, Ashley (Liam), Eric (Carlee), and Bradley (Hayley). She was a devoted daughter to the late Richard and Claire Aubrey, and a loving sister to Sylvie Fisher (Dave). She will also be remembered with love by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Louise Mitchell, her siblings-in-law Rob Mitchell (Cheryl) and Sylvia Barlow (Larry), and her many nieces and nephews: Chris Fisher (Val), Samantha Hahn (Brett), Patricia Barlow (Liam), Megan Mitchell (Vulcan), Carrie Love (Matt), and Chrissie Barlow (Kevin).
Julie’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory at Cole Funeral Services & Highland Park Cemetery, 2037 McGee Side Rd, Carp, ON, on Tuesday, September 2nd, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m.

Julie’s light will continue to shine through the love she gave, the joy she spread, and the lives she forever touched.
