Obituary of Nancy Hebert

Nancy Estelle Louise Hebert (nee McCabe)

November 25, 1944-August 5, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Estelle Louise Hebert.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her son and daughter after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. 

She is predeceased by her loving husband Donald Hebert, her brother Bob McCabe, Parents Roy and Edith McCabe and in laws Marjorie and Philip Hebert.

Nana to Jeff (Ashlyn) Samantha (Josh), Tyler and Taylor. Great Nana to Lily, Lucas, Jacob, Julian and Luca.

Aunt to Melissa and Wayne.

She will be missed dearly by all her friends.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to her neighbours Kathy, Tom, Agnes, Sinisa and Marco for the love and care they gave to our mom.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Ottawa Humaine Society.

Friends and family are invited to visit Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road in Ottawa on Saturday, September 27, 2025, for inurnment at 11:00am, with a Memorial Reception to follow to celebrate Nancy's life.
