Our family lived across the road from the Sederises and we have an uncountable number of great memories. Our parents were best friends, and I and my siblings were good friends with David and Edith. Even when my husband Bruce and I moved to Texas, we kept up with them. Betty and Peter visited with us when they came to visit David’s family, and Bruce and I spent time with them when we came to Canada on visits. Peter was always a joy to be around. When we were young, he was a rock. So steady and kind. Later in life, we would spend hours talking about everything. He had such a great sense of humor. He loved traveling with Betty and when they stayed with us, he made her tea before she got up. He loved to golf but probably loved looking for lost balls even more, many times holding up play to search near the tee box. Although Peter will be missed by all, we are grateful to have known him. I hope he and Betty and my mom and dad are raising a glass together and watching over us.
