On behalf of the Dondorff Woods family, we extend our sincerest condolence's to the Harper Family. Don was always a treasured part of family celebrations and get togethers of the Harper/McGregor/Woods extended family, and was so very gracious as a host, raconteur and debater on current affairs with a laser focus on the latest of business and retail news. He was never at a loss for words and was easily able to engage with anyone he encountered with admirable ease. His passion and love for his family and his adored and beloved wife Lois, was a true love story to admire. Don shall be irreplicable in person to so many, but will live on in the many precious memories he created for all, over his life. Rest in peace dear Don.

I worked with Don and Lois in the early 2000's at ABC/Congress Travel and met my husband because of their welcoming to me at Rideau Park United Church, where Daniel was singing in the choir. Don and Lois were also silent early influencers in my life, having arranged tours for the Peterborough Children's Choir I sang with as a child/teen for many years - it seemed a natural fit to work with them in Ottawa when I finished my post-secondary schooling. Don was a kind man with a great passion for Lois, cruising, and great music and I know he will be missed by his family and the music community in Ottawa. Sending condolences.

While I am not able to attend the Celebration of Life for Don Harper on September 20, I have many memories of him. We worked together at the Proprietary Association of Canada when it was based in Toronto. He was a great colleague: understanding, helpful, courteous and kind. He also had a good sense of humour!
When the Association moved from Toronto to Ottawa, I was not able to go with them. Don gave me a wonderful reference which stood me in good stead for future employment.
My warmest good wishes to Lois.
