Obituary of Eugene Henry (Harry) Billings

Passed away suddenly on August 9, 2025. Life partner and soulmate of the late Joyce Parker. Survived by his sister Ruth St. John and brother Don Billings; his children Corina Billings, Kellee (Richard) Barnett and Scott (Darlene) Parker; grand-daughters Caitlin (Colin) Brennan and Delaney (James) Randall; great-grandchildren Rowan, Lochlan, Jane, Beatrice; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his “family” at O’Grady’s Outpost.

He was an amazing person. Full of strength and wisdom. We have learned a lot from him about always having a positive attitude and facing challenges with strength and grace. Even after losing his leg (Stumpy) he remained the same. He made his disability look easy and it didn’t slow him down. He had so much talent, could fix anything and made beautiful plaques that have made their way into homes around the world. He loved bright colours and wore them daily with pride. His main wish was to put a smile on anyone’s face. He loved unconditionally and felt that all the world needed was love.
