Obituary of Roger Franklyn Pepper

We sadly wish to announce the passing of ROGER FRANKLYN PEPPER at the age of 92. He was the son of the late Alfred and Ruth Pepper.

Roger is survived by his wife of 69 years Odette (Lavergne), his sons Brian (Cindy), Barry (Lianne), grandsons Eric (Erynee) and Shaun, and his greatgrandsons Oliver and Jensen Pepper, sisterinlaw May Larocque, nephew Randy Pepper and nieces Susan Fergus, Margo Wiltshire, Lynn Jamieson (deceased). He was predeceased by his brother Gordon (Marjorie), sisters Freda Hayes (Harold) and Ruth Maundrell (Ken).

Roger served with the Ottawa Police Force and later retired as the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Ottawa.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 1:00 at the Pinecrest Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute, the Dementia Society of Ottawa or the charity of your choice.
