Obituary of Edward William Lambert
It is with a shattered heart that Rob and I announce the passing of Ed on July 25, 2025.
Ed was born in Sain John New Brunswick on February 1, 1947, to the late Harold and Edith Lambert. Ed will be dearly missed by his loving wife Gail Lambert and son Rob Thompson (Tasha Servais). Sometimes in life, you get a second chance of having a loving father who totally adores you. Rob, Ed was so proud of you in everything that you did. Ed was also so extremely excited and proud of his two grandchildren, Logan Thompson and Kynlee Thompson.
Ed will always be in the hearts of his sister Lorraine Landry (Philip) of Woodstock, N.B and his forever loved sister Terry Finnigan, also know as his beautiful sister (John Hanrahan) of Halifax. His best friend and brother-in-law Jim LeBlanc (late Mary). Jim you were his support line and enjoyed every daily phone call. Ed was predeceased by his brothers Derrik Lambert and Hal Lambert.
Ed will be missed by Gail's brothers David (Deborah) Baldwin, Jim Baldwin (Val) and late Ernie Baldwin. Cherished son-in-law of late Ray Baldwin and late Gwen Easey. Ed wanted to make sure we mention the love, support, and friendship of Gail's cousin Jamie Navin (Dawn) and Jamies' son Josh (Abby). You guys have been so supportive and helped us both so much on this journey.
We are forever grateful. Ed was a respected businessman and past president and & C00 of Calian. His leadership and expertise helped mold the Calian that it is today.
Ed, I love you and thank you for making our lives a dream come true. You fought a hard battle, but you are now at peace. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at colefuneralservices.com.
