Gail sent me a text informing me of Ed's passing on July 25th. I had visited Ed and Gail with Jim, John and Terri in early June. Ed was lucid but it was obvious the he was struggling. I was fortunate to be able to say good bye to Ed while he was still with us. Our history goes back 60 years and we were the best of buddies. Our Canada day celebrations at the Hull marina, our nights of playing cards, our road trips promoting national unity our New Years Eve parties, our lengthy business conversations etc. I will miss you dear friend, your family and friends will miss you. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go to Gail, the family and friends. God bless you, RIP buddy.
