Obituary of Gregory George Woito

January 24th 1963 - July 18th 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Gregory George Woito, on July 18th at the age of 62. He is now reunited with his beloved parents, Ellis and Dorothy Woito as well as his sister Kelly Moreau.

Born January 24th 1963, Greg was a jovial, charismatic and hard working fella. He had a lifelong passion for sports, especially when enjoyed with family and friends. For more than 25 years, Greg dedicated himself to not only teach, but help shape the lives of many special needs children, within the educational sector.

Greg is survived by and will be deeply missed by his pride and joy, his daughter, Meagan Muldoon (Mitch), his brother Chris (Joanne), and sister Leslie (Gilles), as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his brother at heart, Donnie Leafloor and many friends and family.

He will always be remembered for his unwavering love of the Toronto Maple Leafs, his fishing competitions with his buddy Gilles and his incredible sense of humour.

Greg’s kindness, contagious laughter and love will be missed more than words can express and he will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
