Obituary of Diana So King Foo (Lee)

Surrounded by her loving family, Diana went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2025.

Born in Guangdong, China, Diana immigrated to Montreal from Hong Kong in 1965 with her husband and their three young daughters. With her strong work ethic, she seamlessly transitioned from teaching in Hong Kong to serving her new country in various roles at Sun Life Canada and the federal government, retiring from Agriculture Canada. Diana was an avid gardener, talented seamstress, and generous hostess.  Her life was marked by her love for God, family, and church.

Diana will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 71 years, Christopher; daughters Lily (Raymond) and Christina (Gregory); brother Kwan Tong Lee (Chui Ling); five grandchildren; and 13  great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her beloved daughters Virginia (Ken) and Man Sum; her sisters; and her parents.

Friends and family are invited to honour her memory at Cole Funeral Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff of Saint-Vincent Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit. Their care was a testament to humanity at its finest, and the family will forever hold that kindness in their hearts.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bruyère Health Foundation in memory of Diana.
