Obituary of Genowefa Tubin

Genowefa passed away peacefully on May 28,2025 with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Leon, daughter Gerry and brother Lonko. Lovingly remembered by daughters Eda (Dave), Helen (Ed) and Mary; grandchildren Jessie, Adrian, Jaimie and Anya; great grandchildren Arlo and Rex. She is also survived by her sisters Vaclava, Marija and by many friends and family in Lithuania, Poland and Canada. 

Born in Poland, she was a child when WWII began, despite enduring unimaginable hardship shelived her life with unwavering kindness and strength. The family would like to thank Dr Gluszynski and Dr Ghosh and her entire team at the Heart Clinic at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. You gave us more time with our beloved mother. Thanks to all her caregivers over the years with special appreciation to the staff at Crossing Bridge, Pinegrove for their extraordinary end of life care.

Friends are invited to Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 2-5pm.  A funeral service will be held at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 11am.  Burial and reception to follow.
