Obituary of Stavroula Nikolakakos

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Stavroula Nikolakakos (née Tsagaris), who passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the age of 80 years.  Beloved wife of the late Kyriakos.  Loving mother of Peter (Maria) and Nick (Laura Jane).  Cherished Yiayia of Sophia, Kyriakos and Leo.  Stavroula is survived by her siblings, Theodoros Tsagaris and Giannis Tsagaris.  Predeceased by her parents Nikolas Tsagaris and Maria Tsagaris (née Mahairas), and by her sisters Stamatiki Matoula Legakis and Panagiota Christakis.

Stavroula was selflessly dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with others. The world is a little dimmer without her. Always welcoming and rose to any occasion in good spirits and a with a playful sense of humour.

Family and friends will be received at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary

Greek Orthodox Church, 1315 Prince of Wales Drive, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 10 am, until time of Funeral Service on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa.
