Auntie Mary. You were my ‘mum’ when I needed you and I just loved every second I was with you. You were my role model, and what a great one you were with your big, brave heart and the endless love you so easily gave. I remember many times going to the grocery store with you and one particular memory I cherish. The store assistant asked you if I was your little girl. You looked down at me with such love and you said - unfortunately not, this is my niece but I so so wish she was my little girl. I could not have been a happier wee soul standing next to you. I have so many wonderful and happy memories of my time being looked after by you. You took a piece of my heart with you but you filled it with a piece of your own. I will think of you every day and forever more. Till we meet again ❤️
