Obituary of Robert Baker Dixon

Peacefully on Friday, May 9^th, 2025.  Son of the late Ford Dixon and Eileen Baker.  Loving husband of the late Mary Torrance and mother of Kathryn Joppen (Nigel Bassett), Jed Dixon and Linda-Anne Dixon.  Proud grandfather of Ryan (Arielle) and Derek Joppen, Margaux Dixon, Alicia French-Smith and Nolan French.   Great-Grandfather of James and Joshua Joppen and Mila French-Smith.   Also predeceased by his brother Alan Dixon and sister Lorna Erdman.  Bob brought joy to everyone who encountered him. His family would like to thank the staff at Park Place for their care.  A graveside service will be held at the Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road on Friday, May 23^rd, 2025 at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation or the Ottawa Cancer Foundation.
