I met Bob a year ago when I got involved in our condominium board. He offered sage advice to the board several times. Bob was a kind-hearted, thoughtful soul. I will miss his smile, his wit, and gentle disposition. We had a chance encounter just days before Bob's passing. We talked about the future of our condo board and of our health. My heart goes out to Bob's family and friends and to all who knew him. Brad Howard

My sincere condolences to Bob’s family. I met Bob shortly after he moved to our condo courtyard, and had the pleasure of helping him choose porch and garage lighting for our units. He had a delightful sense of humour and was so interested in, and kind to others. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. Sincerely, Marilyn Wilson

I had the great pleasure of being one of Bob's friends for the last 35 years. Bob was a great teacher of backgammon, guitar, cars and life. I will miss his wisdom greatly.

4 plus decades ago I walked into my work elevator carrying the front wheel of my bike. There was Bob with his front wheel also. Something clicked and we quickly became fast friends. It was a joy to know Bob, to share accommodations off and on, to play guitar together, and to join a large group of friends for dinners and parties. We were both members of the infamous Fab 4 skiing club, along with Wayne and Claude I will miss him.

My condolences to the family. I met Bob shortly after moving to Ottawa in 2010. I believe it was near River Road where he had a band going that I had auditioned for. We played on a regular basis while he shared his knowledge of guitars and music with me and we jammed all the time! His love of music and ability to score it as well as sing and play was exceptional. It was an honor and a pleasure to have shared a friendship. Fair winds my friend Sonny Wadman
