Obituary of Voula Michalopoulos

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Voula on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Ottawa Hospital - General Campus, at the age of 95. Predeceased by her loving husband Nicolas "Nick". Beloved mother of Basile “Bill” (Diane) and George (Penny). Cherished grandmother of Stravoula Stephanie (Alex). She was predeceased by her dear siblings Dimitrios, John, Elleni, Aristos, Alexandra, Asimo, and Elias, and is survived by her loving sisters Katerina and Anastasia. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, Hellenic Community of Ottawa (1315 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa) on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 12:45 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:45 p.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hellenic Community of Ottawa.
