Dear Celine, Sharon and Frank,
We are sorry to hear the sad news.
I worked with Tony at Ottawa Technical High School for a few years. Tony was a hard working and dedicated teacher. He was well respected by staff and students. My students had also expressed awe for Tony's physical strength in weight lifting.
For Spirit week, an annual event at OTHS, Tony would invariably bring in a meticulously and superbly decorated cake for the cake auction. Without fail, these cakes(Celine's creations, no doubt!) created much excitement and each fetched a very high bid. The cake auction was a major highlight every year and contributed greatly to school spirit.
Memories of these good times, be it in the classroom, hallways or elsewhere live on in the minds and hearts of those whose paths had crossed Tony's.
