Dear Judy and Family, We are so incredibly sorry for your loss. Please know that our hearts are with you during this difficult time.
We always appreciated Greg’s calm and gentle nature. He was such a kind presence, and we feel lucky to have known him in even a small way. When we bought your home, we knew we were stepping into a special place – not just a house, but the family home where you raised your children and built a life together.
We often think of both of you with warmth and fondness. We still joke that the neighbors were probably disappointed when we moved in – we’ve never quite managed to keep the lawn as immaculate as Greg did, and Judy’s gardens remain unmatched in their beauty.
With love and deepest sympathy,
Jay, FInn and Wendy

To Judy, Amanda and Greg Jr.
We were shocked to have received Judy’s e-mail informing us of Greg’s sudden passing.
We wanted to extend our heartfelt condolences to you, the family, during this time of unimaginable loss.
Greg was a beacon of warmth, generosity, and kindness. His presence had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and cared for. Whether it was lending a helping hand, offering words of wisdom, or simply sharing a smile, he gave of himself so freely and so often. We were honored to have known him not only as a neighbor, but as a good person and friend.
His love for his family was always clear, and he spoke of you all with such pride and affection. I can only imagine the depth of your grief right now.
Though words can never fully ease the pain of his loss, his legacy lives on in each of you, in the values he held dear, and in the many lives he touched along the way.
Know this…Greg has imprinted himself in our memories that cannot and will not be erased. He continues to live in each of us in our own special ways. This is the special gift left from Greg!
With our deepest sympathy,
Brenda, Tyler & Tom Moss

Emily and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of a friend and wonderful neighbour, Greg Connolley
We remember Greg as a neighbour with a wonderful sense of humour, always willing to help when needed and someone we could always have a very pleasant and insightful conversation with. It was always our ambition to try to keep up with Greg in the clearing of snow, (Greg was always the first out early in the morning to clear his driveway), during the winter and the maintenance of our lawn care throughout the spring, summer and fall months. Greg always kept his lawn impeccable and even during the fall months there was rarely a fallen leaf to be found. <grin>.
Even though Greg and Judy left for Ottawa to be closer to their family we often thought and spoke about them.
To Judy, Mandy, Greg Jr., and his grandchildren we offer you our heartfelt condolences.

My deepest condolences to the Connolley family for their loss.
I got to know Greg while at Fleming College. In fact, Greg was the first person I spoke to when I came to Fleming looking for a change in career from policing to teaching. He was gracious with his time and gave me some great advice.
I will remember Greg fondly as a true gentleman and professional. May his memory be a blessing to all that knew and loved him.

My sincere sympathy to Greg’s family. Greg and I came on the OPP together we sat across from each other and for three weeks in 1971 we were the best of friends. Our paths seldom crossed after that but I never forgot my friend. May he now rest easy

My heartfelt condolences to Greg's family.
I had the great good fortune to work with Greg at Fleming College and went on several "road tours" with Greg and Jack Watkins to provide advocacy information to emergency services personnel. It was always great fun to work and travel with Greg. His good humour and positive energy brightened every encounter.
I know there will be a special place in heaven and our thoughts and memories of Greg.

Judy and family, I am so sorry for your loss.
Greg was a true gentleman, friend and former neighbor. I will always remember him putting out his red cushions on the front porch, which meant he was welcoming people to come and sit and enjoy good conversations.
