Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Stevenson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret on Saturday March 8, 2025 following a five year illness with dementia.

Margaret was born in Dublin Ireland, April 1937 and came to Canada in the late 1950’s where she met her loving spouse Ian to whom she was married for over 63 years.

As a breast cancer survivor, she was supported by the 'Make Waves' group.  She enjoyed, for too short a time, quilting for diagnosed cancer individuals with Victoria's Quilts Canada.

During the seventeen months, Margaret was in the care of Extendicare Medex, she and Ian were comforted and loved at all times by the wonderful staff. Special thanks to the entire team!

A Memorial Service will be held on at 2:00 p.m. on  Saturday, April 12, 2025 in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa.
