Obituary of Edward "Bud" Elser

Peacefully On Wednesday March 5, 2025 at Grace Manor long-term care home, Bud passed away at 98 years old.  Bud was predeceased by his wife Betty Latreille and his sisters Sue Timpson, Beatrice Nicholls and Mary Brown.  Stepfather to Donald Latreille (Benita Theriault) & Sharon (Ed ) Holmes.  Grandfather to Jennifer (Tony) Cesare and Tara Latreille (Omar Zarrug).  Great Grandfather to Julianna, Gabriella, Maryam, Harun, Amina, Dunya and Ahmed.  He will be fondly remembered by his many Nieces and Nephews as Uncle Buddy.

We wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the amazing, hardworking staff at the Grace Manor long-term care home especially the team on the 3^rd floor Rosemount wing.  The care, kindness this past year for Bud will never be forgotten.

Respecting Bud’s wishes no visitation or funeral service will be held.  Bud will have a graveside service at a later date to be reunited with his Mother Beatrice Elser.  In his memory, donations can be made to the Salvation Army Grace Manor or the Ottawa Humane society.
