Obituary of Nancy Rimmer

With heartfelt sorrow, the family of Nancy Rimmer announce her passing at home in August.  Beloved wife of the late Tom Rimmer and lovingly remembered mother of Douglas (Susan Baird) and Malcolm (Donna Dias). Proud grandmother of Anne (Damien Dufour) and their son Hugo, James (Morag Clark-Heptinstall) and their daughters Beatrice and Imogen, and Leigh (Tim Meyer) and their sons Miles and Jesse. 

Nancy was born in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. Younger daughter of the late James Blair and Helen Cunning Morris, half-sister of David Morris (New Zealand) and sister and best friend of Jean Adam. All predeceased. 

Nancy was proud of her Scottish roots and her life in Canada for almost 60 years. 

Visitation at Coles Funeral Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Sunday November 1, 2026, 2:00 – 4:30 pm with Memories shared at 3:00 pm followed by a reception.
