Obituary of Yvonne Rahal

Surrounded by family, Yvonne Rahal passed away peacefully on August 25th, 2026.
She was loving, kind-hearted and had a special way of making the people around her feel loved and cared for.
Yvonne’s faith and her love of others was a source of strength and comfort throughout her life. This helped guide her through both joyful and difficult times. She carried that faith with her in the way she lived, loved, forgave, and helped those in need.
Yvonne was predeceased by her husband, Antoine Rahal. She was a devoted mother to Caroline, Claudine (Cliff) and Carlos, a very proud Téta to Delsin and Maéva, and grandmother to Rita and Julie. Her family and friends were at the centre of her heart. Nothing brought her greater joy than seeing the people she loved happy, well fed and all together.
Those who knew Yvonne, will fondly remember her beautiful heart, her warmth, her playfulness, her laughter, her generosity and the way she told you how much you meant to her. And, in her own unmistakable way, she would often say: “I love you so, so, so, so, so much.” She gave freely and loved deeply, wholeheartedly and without hesitation.
Yvonne leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, kindness, generosity and compassion.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever cherished in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Thursday, September 3rd from 4:00PM to 8:00PM.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine Parish, 1060 Baseline Road on Friday, September 4th at 11:00 AM.
Burial and reception will be held at the Pinecrest Cemetery immediately following the mass.
