Obituary of Elizabeth-Anne Clark

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth-Anne Clark (nee Baird) in Ottawa, ON at the age of 76.  She was predeceased by her parents, the Rev. Canon Leonard J. Baird and Gene Baird (nee Adams) as well as by her loving and devoted husband Gary Forbes.  She is survived by her much adored daughter Jennifer, and her two grandchildren Joshua and Ashley.  Also mourning her loss are her brothers Michael (Ann), Stephen (Diana) and her sister Angela, as well as her nieces Alexa (Ben) and Amanda, and her great-nephews Adrian and Ethan. 

Elizabeth spent most of her life in Ottawa where she formed valuable friendships that have lasted over decades.  After moving to Nanaimo, BC in 1999, she formed new bonds, made new friendships and actively participated in many social activities.  She cared deeply for her friends and family.

She will be remembered for her generous spirit, selfless nature, and courage in facing cancer. She will leave a void in our hearts that can never be filled, however her spirit will live on through her daughter and grandchildren. Anyone who knew her was blessed.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice team at May Court for the exceptional care, comfort and compassion they provided. Their kindness and support brought peace to Elizabeth and her family. 

A funeral service and reception will be held on August 13, at 11:00am, at the Pinecrest Remebrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa.
