Obituary of Andrea Lynn Brownlee

Andrea left to join her beloved husband Patrick on July 20, 2026 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Andrea is survived by her daughter, Annabel Brownlee-LeVasseur, her mother, Diane Smith (David), her father, Robert Brownlee (Vicki) and her brother, Scott Brownlee (Juanita).

A graduate of Carleton University with a degree in Criminology, Andrea started her career at NAV CANADA in their Human Resource Department, then moved her career to the Federal Government working in security services. She was much respected throughout her career.

Our thanks to the doctors and staff at the Ottawa Hospital for their care and encouragement during Andrea’s treatments and to the many family members and friends who walked with Andrea along this difficult journey.

Andrea will be inurned with Patrick at Pinecrest Cemetery in October.

Gone too soon, but remembered forever.
