Obituary of Michel Fortier

Michel Fortier passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, at the age of 74, in Ottawa.

Born in Ottawa, Michel held keen interests in music, woodworking, classical literature, chess, global affairs and meditation. He will be remembered for his quiet demeanour, curious mind and dry wit.

Michel was predeceased by his parents, Germaine and Charles, and his brother, Bob.  He is survived by his nephew and godson, Jeremy.
