Obituary of Robert MacRae

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” MacRae on May 5, 2026, at the young age of 64. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving daughters, Kathryn (Katie) and Elizabeth (Lisa) 

He was the cherished son of Ronald MacRae and the late Laurie MacRae, and a loving brother to Terry (the late Debbie), Janet (Henri Bureau), Donna (Bruce Bean ), and Arlene (Cal Moores).

Beloved father of Kathryn (Gabriel Abou-Eid) and Elizabeth (Jason Brock), Bob was a devoted and proud Papa to Aiden, Aevah, Adeline, and Emery, who brought immense joy and purpose to his retirement years.

Bob was known for his strong work ethic, his love of sports, and above all, his deep love for his family. He worked hard throughout his life and looked forward most to spending time with his grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

He will be forever loved, deeply missed, and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of his life will be held at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM
