Obituary of Joan Comrie (nee Gagne)

Passed away peacefully in hospital at age 87 years.

Pre-deceased by husband John. Beloved mother of Sandy (Paul), Heather (late Rod), Doug, Cathy (Kevin). Loving grandma of Lindsay (Jeff), Laura (Sean), Megan, Mitchell, Adam, & Denis (Ashlee) & Sylvain (Linda). Great grandmother to Kaiden, Grayson & Adrina. Cherished sister of Ruth (late Ross), Bryan (Diana), late  Barry (Joan) and late Betty-Jean in infancy.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with Memorial Tributes offered at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026 in the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road. Donations can kindly be made to Ottawa Heart Institute or Canadian Cancer Society.
