More fragrant than any flower, more gentle than any breeze but more courageous and daring than any warrior, This is how I have known Lucie during my short time at Lee Valley. I had a special connection with her.
With deep sadness, I offer my condoleances to the family – Robin, Annick and Phil.
Lucie will be remembered by many, not only as a person who once lived, but especially as the living image of a valuable woman.
May she rest in peace.

Thinking of you, Robin, Annick, and Phil, and holding you close in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
Lucie was truly one of a kind. Her strength and resilience were felt by all of us, and she brought so much heart into everything she did. Anyone who had the privilege of working with her knows the impact she made. She cared deeply, always putting people first and bringing a genuine customer focus that came so naturally to her. It wasn’t just part of her job, it was who she was.
She leaves a lasting impression on all of us, and she will be deeply missed and always remembered.
With heartfelt sympathy,

Lucie saw the best in people and she brought out the best in people. She was an excellent mentor, a loving person and she cared deeply about her staff. She taught me so much and I am so sad that she is gone.
I remember her so vividly encouraging people on April Fools (“Poisson d'Avril") to be silly and gently prank each other. Her laugh, her smile, her telling John Darlington to smile. Hearing her call "Gerald" from her office...
She knew my husband's name, wouldn't let me take the ecomm shift on Christmas day to avoid my in-laws (lol) and she always encouraged us to try something new.
She was one of a kind.
My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

To the Lee and Robitaille family,
Lucie was such a wonderful person, and I feel incredibly grateful to have had the privilege of working with her over many years. She had a remarkable way of taking care of her own — always deeply committed to service, not only in what she did but in how she supported and uplifted those around her. She fostered a true sense of kinship and mentorship, making people feel valued, trusted, and part of something meaningful. Her kindness, dedication, and genuine care for those around her left a lasting impact on so many people.
Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time. I offer my deepest condolences, and my presence in whatever way may bring comfort in the days ahead.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Neil L.
