I had the pleasure of meeting her a few times over the years and I found her to be a very kind and friendly lady. My last encounter with her was at the ladies martini night at marconi's. Her table was next to mine. We chatted that night and she was looking great! This is a beautiful obituary. I'm sure she will be terribly missed by everyone. I had the fortune of having Rossana as a friend during our pre-teen and early teen years when we lived on McLeod Street.
I have many sweet and touching memories of the times we shared. Whenever I hear ‘Crocodile Rock’ I think of her and the two of us singing and dancing around their living room coffee table.
She was a fun, loyal, warm and caring friend and it is clear that she never changed.

My dear friend
I write this not as a goodbye or tribute, but as a thank you… thank you for sitting beside me in Grade 11 homeroom so many years ago. Who would have known that this chance meeting would lead to a friendship that cannot be described in words; that few if any will ever experience in a lifetime. We basked in the good times, weathered the storms, and came out stronger for it.
I am not going to lie – I may never understand why our journey together on this earth had to end, but I will forever be grateful for the time we did have. You were my sister, not by blood but by choice.
We may have seemed like complete opposites, but beneath the layers, deep down we were alike at heart – guided by the same morals, beliefs and values. Some people believed being best friends means you need to share everything, but we didn’t. We didn’t need to. I always knew what you were thinking without you saying a word, and you could read me like a book. No matter what life brought our way, we always knew we would be there for each other.
We laughed until we cried. We cried until we laughed. We stood by each other when life was kind and when it was anything but. Through marriages, children, challenges, celebrations, and quiet ordinary days — you were always there.
Thank you for the countless memories that will forever live in my heart. Thank you for the loyalty, your “brutal” honesty, the strength, the love and the mischief, (remember how we would text our kids, send them a pic with the caption “we are out and have no adult supervision ... lolol” they knew we were up to no good). Thank you for being my safe place and my constant.
A friendship like ours does not end. It lives on in who I am because you were such a part of me.

To Carlos and Rossana’s extended family, please accept my sincere condolences. I will miss Rosanna very much. We first met at spin class, and we three spin friends had many breakfasts and dinners together over the years. Always happy, fun gatherings with lots of stories, catching up and laughter. My dear friend and kindred spirit. You are taking your final trip to eternity and I am praying it is everything you loved here on earth and more.

Carlo, Adriana, Angelo - words cannot express our deepest condolences on this immeasurable loss. Rossana had this magical ability to make sure you will never forget her. Her presence, her amazing laugh, her love of dancing and adventure… left such a beautiful impact on everyone who had the honour of knowing her. A true rare gem, someone that we are honoured to have called a friend. She will be missed immensely, but she taught all of us so much about family and love and life.
