Obituary of Anastasia Pagani

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, nonna and bisnonna, Anastasia Campagna Pagani, on February 17, 2026, at the age of 94.

Born on November 15, 1931, in Carpineto Romano, Italy, she was the cherished daughter of the late Raffaele and Edvige Campagna. A  woman of strong faith and unwavering devotion to her family, buiding a life grounded in strength, resilience, and unconditional love.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Landino Pagani, she leaves behind her devoted daughters, Lina (late Gerry) and Manuela (Giovanni). A proud and loving nonna to Stephanie (Alan), Romina (Anthony), and Luca (Stephanie), and a treasured bisnonna to Alessio, Giordano, Carina and Matteo, who were the little joys of her life.

Predeceased by her siblings Luigi (Assunta), Ludovico (Ernesta), and Quirino (Vittoria), and by her brothers and sisters-in-law Armando (Franca), Luciana (Leopoldo), Benita (Roberto), and Maria (Giulio).

She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy, as well as by her dear friends whose lives she touched with kindness and warmth.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at The Ottawa Hospital General Campus and the Glebe Centre for their care and kindness.

Our table will never be the same without her, but her legacy lives on in the generations she raised, the traditions she passed down, and the deep love that binds our family together. She was our matriarch and will remain forever in our hearts.
