Obituary of Vincenzo Biasone

Passed away peacefully at the age of 72 on February 4, 2026. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 35 years, Maria Amabile (Musca), and by his parents, Stella and Giuseppe Biasone.

Vincenzo will be lovingly remembered by many for his love of soccer. He was a very well known referee within the community. He will be missed by his sister Maria (Mike), his brother Peter (Alison), and his brother-in-law Silvano (Carmela) Musca. He was a devoted father to Gianmarco and Elissa (Alex Rassi), and a proud and cherished Nonno to Massimo, Mia, and Gemma, with whom he treasured every moment spent together.

He will be missed by his nieces and nephew, Kristina (Sebastian), Vanessa, Alex, and Francesca (Marco). He will be deeply missed by family and friends across Canada, Italy, and Australia.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff and doctors who provided exceptional care at St. Patrick’s Home on the Cavan floor. Sincere thanks also to Dr. S. Kurtz and Maria Pilar for their dedicated care throughout the years.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, February 12th at 10 am for a Christian Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church (427 Booth St.) followed by inurnment at Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Road).
