Joyce Moberg

Obituary of Joyce Gladys Moberg

On Saturday, January 10, 2026, Joyce Gladys (White) Moberg passed away at the age of 97 continually surrounded by family and staff at the Salvation Army Ottawa Grace Manor, a place she called home.  While our hearts were breaking, we took comfort in knowing how full and meaningful her life had been.  There was a deep sense of peace in knowing that she was about to begin a new chapter of eternal life with the Saviour she loved and worshipped and whose faith she passed on through generations.

She lived a good life, marked by simple faith, endless love for her family, and a deep joy in seemingly ordinary moments.

Joyce was born on April 6, 1928 in Niagara Falls, Ontario and married the love of her life, Harvey Ray Moberg on July 181947 and enjoyed 65 years of marriage.

Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Richard Joseph White and Bessie Eliza (Corder) White; brother, Douglas White (Elvira); her cherished great-grandson Joshua Douglas van der Horden and her son-in-law Hugh McCullough (Bobbi).

Joyce is survived by her daughters Bobbi McCullough and Sandi (Bill) van Gulik; her sons Kevin (Judy) Moberg and Bill (Pam) Moberg; her grandchildren Doug (Sheila) van der Horden, Cheryl van der Horden, Debbie (Sean) Wong, Glenn (Dana) van Gulik, Steve (Lianne) van Gulik, Kim van Gulik-Savage, Rick (Nari) Moberg, Tom (Sophie) Moberg, Chris (Stef) Moberg, Jeff (Megan) Moberg and 12 great-grandchildren, Kris (Jenna) van der Horden, Baylie (Travis) Gallant,  Sarah van der Horden, Brooklyn (Tim) van der Horden, Alex (Kass) van Gulik, Shaelyn Wong, Levi Wong, Olivia Savage, Maria van Gulik, Jack van Gulik and Hannan Moberg.
