Obituary of Sonny Fong

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Sonny Leung Sun Fong at the age of 86 in Markham, Ontario.

Leung Sun was born in Hoi Ping, China, to Yik Chung Fong and Chai Sung Cheung. He is survived by his loving wife Chan Kan Fong, his children April (Timothy), Sybil (Eddy), and Justin (Shea), and his grandchildren Kaila (Christian), Kingsley, Kian, Christian, Connor, and Quinton.

Leung Sun dedicated his time to practicing and teaching martial arts. He greatly appreciated Chinese Classical Guzheng music and Chinese opera. He enjoyed fishing, making food, and following Toronto sports teams, especially the Maple Leafs. He also loved spending time with his family.

A Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on Friday, January 16 at 1:30 p.m followed by a Service at 2:30 p.m in the chapel.
