Obituary of Lynn Fyle

Lynn Elizabeth Fyle, age 82, of Morrisburg, Ontario, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026. Lynn was the beloved daughter of the late Janet and Trevor Allison.

Lynn lived a life defined by creativity, kindness, and deep devotion to the people she loved. She began her career teaching art, sharing her passion and inspiring others to explore their own creativity. Later in life, Lynn embraced her calling as a full-time artist, creating works that reflected her vivid imagination and love of beauty. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She was a devoted mother to Emily and Brad, a loving partner to Richard, and a cherished friend whose warmth and generosity brightened every gathering.

In 1994, Lynn suffered a stroke that changed the course of her life. She spent many years at Grace Manor Nursing Home in Ottawa, Ontario, where she received exceptional care and compassion. Her family is deeply grateful to the staff for their dedication and support throughout those years.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Charles Richard Fyle; her daughter Emily (Corey); her treasured grandchildren, Ryder and Addison; and her siblings David, Mary, and Nancy. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Brad. Lynn’s presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of love and creativity will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026  from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service to Celebrate her Life at 2:00 p.m. in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. For those who wish to join the service virtually SERVICE LINK.
