Obituary of Evelyn Grace Macklem (nee Taylor)

Evelyn Macklem was born on August 27, 1929 and passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 26, 2025 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Macklem. Loving mother of Kathy Hogan and Judy Rodgers. Grandmother to Katie Marr (Shawn Marr), Jessica Hogan (Dan Prue) and Matthew Hogan. Great grandmother to Tyler Hogan, Connor Marr, Abby-Lynn Prue, Sawyer Marr and Owen Prue.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Robertson House for their compassionate care for Evelyn.

A Private Service will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 11am.
