Obituary of Robert Hollyer

October 17, 1958 – November 13, 2025  

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Hollyer, aged 67, of Ottawa, Ontario, on November 13, 2025.  Born on October 17, 1958, Robert was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a proud member of the Ottawa community. He dedicated over 35 years of service to OC Transpo, where he was known for his reliability, professionalism, and the kindness he showed to colleagues. 

He leaves behind his son Keith (Valerie) and beloved grandson Rowan; siblings Dawn (Deane) and Geoff (Julie); and his nieces Kaylee and Khia. Predeceased by loving parents, Edgar and Eileen.  Robert will be remembered for his giving nature, steady presence, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life.   His days as the grandfather of Rowan brought him immense joy. His family and friends will forever hold close the memories and love he shared.
