Obituary of Joshua Clatney

It is with profound sadness that the family of Joshua Mark William Clatney, announce his passing from organ failure on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the young age of 28.

Born on July 13, 1997, Joshua leaves behind his Father Mark Clatney (Allyson and stepson Connor); Mum Louise Osborn and devoted Brother Nicholas Clatney; his Auntie Sally Osborn and Uncle John Dunkley and "second" Brother Bryar Vuyk; his Grandfathers William Osborn, Gilles Bellefeuille and Paul Clatney; Grandma Donna Simpson and most importantly, HIS Nanny Diane Barnett.

One of Joshua's many goals in life was to make sure his Nanny remained healthy to her 100th Birthday, so she will get her card from His Majesty The King. The bond Josh and Nanny had appeared unbreakable, and his passing is insurmountable for her. He was greatly loved by his entire family despite the difficulties his mental heath and addictions had on us all.

Joshua was a gifted student with a photographic memory and a lifelong appetite for learning. He wanted to help people who could not help themselves which grew to his involvement in the legal, medical, addiction and computer science fields. Never caring about materialistic things he started ClatsLegal.ca and an expert at Python, Open-Source Computing, AI and Web Design. His industry leading app ClatScope is a powerful OSINT research tool downloaded thousands of times. Joshua will always be loved and missed dearly by family, friends, business associates, organizations, and politicians alike.

All are welcome to attend Josh's Visitation and Celebration of Life at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Tuesday, December 2nd from 1-4 pm and his funeral at St. Leonard's Parish, 5332 Long Island Road Manotick on Wednesday, December 3rd at 11 am. The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend. Service Link
