Posts to the tribute of Aurel Dittrich

Mike, Lee-Ann, Maja, Jamie and the rest of the Dittrich clan, Lynne and I were so sorry to hear of Mr D's passing. He was always so kind, candid and patient with us. I'm sure he thought we were corrupting (poor innocent) Mike but I can assure you, it was the other way around! I have great memories of him being interested and engaged with us. He was always supportive of our "exploits" and seemed to really enjoy hearing about them and talking with us. Personally, I always felt like a part of the family when I stayed over at Braco and we always ate SO well!!!! I know that Mrs D had a lot to do with that but he had such a generous spirit and a very positive energy! As I read through this excellent obituary, I am so impressed with his accomplishments. He was a remarkable person and he will be missed! Our sympathies to all of you and I know you will cherish your great memories with him (as will we). Paul...............

Dear Mike and Maja. We are so sad to hear of your Dad’s passing. He was a wonderful person and had a bigger than life personality. I have fond memories of him with his kindness, great sense of humour and his unwavering patience with Mike and the rest of us guys; affectionately known as The Lads in our younger days. I hope that he is at peace now and has reunited with your mom. May you, Maja and your families cherish the memories you have of Aurel always.
