I have just found this notice and the one about Ian. I was Caroline’s friend at Glasgow Uni and worked at the Royal Infirmary while she was there. We spent some memorable times hitch hiking in the Highlands, celebrating Hogmanay and working as summer student nurses at the Samaritan Hospital. Our paths crossed many times in Canada - 1965 in Oakville, 1968 in Port Coquitlam, 1973 in Edmonton and several times in BC when Caroline was auditing labs. The last time we met was when Sandy and I visited Caroline and Ian in Cherry Valley. It certainly was a dream home and they were so happy there. She was a good friend. I’m sorry I was never able to come from BC to visit her in Ottawa. Condolences and all the best to her family. The last years could not have been easy.

Caroline was a dear friend and neighbor on Pinewood Crescent. Our friendship continued with visits to Cherry Valley and New Port Ritchey and later with lunch visits when Carol was back in Ottawa. We have many memories of happy times spent with Carol and John. Eileen And Dan Ball Ottawa
