We were saddened to learn of the passing of Marylin. When I spoke with Fritz at the Advanced Pastoral Care Training course he did not give any indication that Marylin was ill. We remember her gentle nature and kind smile from the time Fritz served as youth pastor at St. Paul's. I am sorry to hear about the passing of Marylin. My biggest memory is that she took my nephew to her dance studio when he came to Canada from Japan in 2018. They danced together. She was such a great ballroom dancer and I loved watching her dance. That photo is from Feb 2011 with my youngest daughter.

Fritz and your family, I am very sorry to hear about Marilyn, it has been years but feels like no time at all. Nothing I can say or anyone can say will take away the emotional pain you and your children are feeling at this moment but I can say, which I know you know, is to rest assured that where Marilyn is now is better than any of us can possibly imagine and that in a blink of our Lord's eye you will be together once again for eternity. As hard as this is and as unfair as life can feel, our time in this world is short and any pain felt here disappears immediately once met face to face with our Lord and Savior. You and Marilyn were a huge impact on my life at a younger age and I pray and know the Lord will comfort you and your family in this time. Through you Fritz, she will live on. Our bible study group will be changed forever without Marylin. Her enthusiastic spirit, passionate views and love for the Lord was infectious. We were so sad to learn of Marylin's passing. We met Marylin through our family doctor and she was the main therapist to our daughter Joanna, who is on the Autism spectrum. Marylin made such a huge difference in Joanna's life through working with her almost daily, to the point where Joanna, just this month, was able to successfully start Junior Kindergarten. Marylin started working with Joanna when she was barely speaking, and helped her develop into a busy, talkative and interactive toddler. While we've never met Marylin's family, we wanted to send our condolences for your loss and share what she has meant to us and our family through her work. - Anna, Joanna, Julianna & Jason

Marylin was such a dear friend. A true gem, so pure and genuine. A beautiful soul that I feel blessed to have known. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, laugh, smile and warmth will never be forgotten. I hope I will always remember her voice saying some of her popular phrases like “My word!”, “You know?!” . Rest in peace dear Marylin. You touched us all immensely and you will be cherished forever.
