So sorry to hear of Steve’s passing and our deepest sympathies to his wife and family. I especially loved the reference to “devoted cottager” and might I add fisherman, because to me that was the essence of Steve. His property was always immaculate with not a blade of grass too long. He was also a very good horseshoe player at Lac de Sable, playing in our annual cottage horseshoe tournaments we had many, many years ago, He was often seen at our cottage lot practising with Roy Sims, my dad Emile LeCompte, Bert Tippins and sometimes my hubby Joe. Fun times to remember. May you be throwing some ringers Steve even today. The whole gang will have a game!
Again sympathies to your family but remember the good memories.
