ROBERT FISET
I was saddened to learn of Bob’s passing this past Thursday the second of November.
Bob meant a lot to me, professionally and personally. He was always a joy to work with, even when he was not feeling the most joyful. J
I first learned of Bob Fiset when I joined Levitt Safety in 1999. I did not make his acquaintance until I joined the outside sales team in 2003. At that time Bob was like the superstar legend sort of person in the room. He had already worked for the company probably 30 years and knew everyone and everything.
I first worked with Bob in summer of 2003. He had engineered a significant order with the Canadian Military Fire service for Breathing compressors across the country. Sophisticated equipment, significant dollar amount—- with no direct access to sell most of the gear. And he Won the order. Very Impressive.
Anyway he was calling me to help with an installation / set up issue for the military base in Gagetown NB. I recall when he called he had the solution all laid out. I just needed to make it work. Well I did make it work, with his help. Indeed, with our successful completion of the installation, Levitt Safety became a trusted seller on site, making the year of 2003 the most successful year to date by a factor of 300%. Teamwork.
Bob will always be with me as a colleague, mentor and friend. So many times I spoke with him about strategy, ideas, products, customers and more. He was always quick with his wit; always stretching boundaries—- always looking for a way to be successful.
I was lucky that I got to know some of his personal side. He was caring, thoughtful and like a bull in a china shop. All those things.
Bob was my friend and I will always miss him
My heartfelt condolences for your loss.
Sincerely.
