I was so sorry to hear of Brad's passing; we became managers together at NRC Research Press back in the 1990s, and Brad was always there to provide technical guidance from his part of the business and to lighten the mood when we needed it. My deepest condolences go out to his entire family for this huge loss.

I met Brad’s youngest son, Matt on the first day of grade 7, since then I’ve grown very close to Matt and his family. I would consider Brad, Andrea, Matt and Jake like family. I’ve been on several fishing trips with Brad and Matt and without fail every time it’s filled with laughter regardless of how many we caught. I send my deepest condolences to the Stoppa's. You guys mean so much to me and hope there’s anything I can do to help during this time.

Brad was my first boss at the NRC for almost ten years, and I have so many fond memories of him. He loved sharing stories about his fishing trips and bike rides, and we shared many laughs together. I will always be grateful to him for teaching me everything I know about printing and graphics, and for being one of my greatest cheerleaders. Even after he left the NRC, we stayed in regular touch, always catching up on life, as recently as a few weeks ago. He spoke often and proudly about Jake and Matt, and about the trips he was planning and looking forward to.
